Energy from these highly addictive sugary drinks? You must be joking. What you really get is a spike in sugar and corresponding spike in insulin (the fat storage hormone) followed by a slump and a voracious hunger. This leads to weight gain and you are now well on the path to metabolic syndrome.

What ever happened to drinking water for thirst? Shame on big food and the supermarkets for this disgraceful marketing!
