Normal smoothies are very high in sugar and should be avoided. This one is not however, clocking in at only 5.2g of net carbs.

The avocado makes this smoothie very filling. You don’t get the avocado taste as it is masked by the berries and lemon juice.
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 50g full fat greek yoghurt
- 50ml of water
- a squeeze of lemon juice
- 25g of berries (blackberries in this case)
Blend the lot with a stick blender and hey presto its ready! Make it the night before and keep in the fridge covered with clingfilm if preferred.
