Fermented Foods

These days fermented foods are getting quite a lot of attention in the world of health and nutrition. This is partly because they contain high levels of probiotics which promote good gut bacteria as well as other health benefits.  Fermented foods really compliment an LCHF lifestyle as they are typically very low in net carbohydrates.

Kimchee in particular goes really well with most meats and eggs and the good news is that it keeps for weeks if prepared correctly. It is a really useful food to have in the kitchen especially if you don’t have time to prepare and cook vegetables.

Kefir is also super easy to make and is a great substitute for yoghurt.

Why don’t you try to incorporate them into your diet today?
